What to do if you are unsure:
If you receive an e-mail and are unsure of its validity, do not use the link provided in the email, but go to that site using their normal
Internet address, such as
www.enetsystems.net.
Be sure to keep the anti-virus and anti-spyware
software on your computer up-to-date. Ask us if
you don't know where to look.
Also be sure any page in which you enter sensitive information is encrypted.
In Internet Explorer, a padlock will
usually appear in the bottom right corner of the window
if the website is encrypted. Feel free to report phishing emails you receive to the proper authorities.
EBay and PayPal users have long been targets for phishing scams.

Recently, phishing scams have also been seen from many other sources including credit card companies and banks.
